Doek valt voor café De Sjmeed in Herkenbosch
Herkenbosch wordt nooit meer hetzelfde. Na 85 jaar valt definitief het doek voor café De Sjmeed.
Nadat de uitbaters Frits en Mien Bos-Snijders afgelopen zomer al de deur op slot deden, hebben ze het afgelopen jaar geprobeerd om een nieuwe exploitant te vinden voor het karakteristieke horecapand. Maar het is helaas niet gelukt om een kandidaat te vinden die in deze onzekere tijd de uitdaging aan wil gaan. Dat betekent dat er na 85 jaar een einde komt het voortbestaan van café De Sjmeed.
Frits en Mien kijken terug op een tijd vol herinneringen aan veel leuke en gezellige momenten en danken iedereen die het café bezocht heeft.
